My partner Keith and I are very happy to have joined your wonderful historic neighborhood!!
We are renting from Buddy Stone but will consider ourselves investors in the neighborhood for as long as we live here which we plan on being a very long time!!

Keith is a producer for KBTV Fox4...and is originally from the Beaumont area. I am a freelance DJ. I have lived in Texas before mainly Bandera where I built a house. Also, San Antonio area where I used to own a 1903 Colonial Revival in the King William historical District.
I am also a BIG history buff! I will thoroughly enjoy researching / learning about the house we now call home. I already have learned that in 1927 our home was lived in by architect Wallace B. Livesay! Thanks to the McFaddin Ward research Library!
I truly enjoyed meeting some of you at the meeting Mon. the 14th of Feb. and hope to meet many more of you as time goes by!!
Btw, if you see my ambulance in the neighborhood don't worry I use it for entertaining lives not saving them! LOL
I'll be seeing you....around the block!
Till then I am

Hi, Eric,

Thanks for your post.

The forum has not "taken off" yet, but all we need are a few people like yourself to take the plunge and make a post now and then.

Drop by the Tattered Suitcase sometime and say "Hi".

Michael

Eric,

So glad you and Keith have joined our neighborhood! I saw that you were interested in researching the history of your home and hope that you will have a chance to attend our neighborhood general meeting tonight - June 13, 2011 - at the McFaddin Ward Visitor's Center starting at 7 pm. William Grace, Managing Director of the Tyrrell Historical Library is going to be letting us know about the resources there to help us research our houses and the families who lived in them.
